Agate Meaning and Healing Properties

Agate has a glassy luster and is formed from volcanic eruptions. Over its lifetime, layers of molten rock, mix with water and minerals, and AgateS patterns and colors are created. Often, we find a glorious door of crystals in the center of an Agate piece, and/or geode formations with amethyst or other types of quartz. This is one of the characteristics that make Agate so mysterious and exciting to view. Agate itself has a wider, overarching set of healing properties no matter the category color or pattern of individual agate variations.
